Charming French couple Samantha and Mickael (Mika) celebrated their wedding weekend event at the fabulous Castello di Gabbiano in Tuscany.Gabbiano is a 14th Century castle in the countryside between Florence and Siena, with 100 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and grounds. Sam and Mika’s Gabbiano celebrations included a relaxed party the evening before the wedding and a fun post-wedding brunch.

On their wedding day, Sam, Mika and their attendants got ready in Gabbiano’s pretty Tuscan-style suites. Guests gathered for the ceremony in the main courtyard, framed by the spectacular countryside and below 12th Century belltower. Sam and Mika said ‘I do’ under a wrought iron gazebo embellished with white chiffon drapes and flowers.

After the ceremony, guests gathered for pre-dinner aperitifs on the main terrace, overlooking the beautiful countryside scattered with vineyards and olive groves. During aperitifs, Sam and Mika strolled through Gabbiano’s gardens and grounds, stopping for photographs in picturesque spots. Later, the couple and their guests enjoyed their wedding banquet in the castle’s elegant garden. Then, after the delicious dinner, featuring local delicacies and Gabbiano’s own prize-winning wines, Sam and Mika cut their wedding cake.

Everyone cheered and waved sparklers as the newlyweds cut the enormous Tuscan-style mille-feuille wedding cake. Then, guests sampled the delicious, fresh fruit and cream-filled cake before some incredibly fun, improvised dancing began.

Then, the wedding party moved indoors, to the one of Gabbiano’s elegant halls. Sam and Mika performed their first dance before being joined on the dancefloor by their families and friends.
